Acceptable Behavior / Code of Conduct

Your profile information must, of course, be correct, including descriptions of your skills, education, job experience, areas of interest, etc.
Our terms of service, community standards, and rules for using the app and platform must always be followed.

You must always act politely and socially appropriately in terms of language and agreements towards customers, colleagues, and office staff. Sprogteam is a platform for everyone.
Discrimination based on gender, race, age, religious belief, sexual preference, or similar is in no way acceptable on this platform.

This also includes publishing, offering, or requesting content that expresses or supports discriminatory ideas.
Do not post, offer, or request any form of inappropriate content.

Any frustrations or disagreements in our online community must be handled with respect, both verbally and non-verbally. Sprogteam is always ready to help everyone. User safety is our top priority, and you should never speak about other users.

Sprogteam respects our users' privacy by not contacting them with offers, questions, suggestions, or anything else that is not directly related to their order or employment relationship.
If you want to know more about acceptable and expected behavior for interpreters, translators, etc., you can read more about it in our employee handbook.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

To create a user on Sprogteam, we need the following information about you: your name, phone number, email, and address.
As an employee, we need the following information: your name, phone number, email, address, bank account details for salary, and your CPR number.

On your profile, you can choose to attach a picture of yourself as an employee, but it is not mandatory.
At Sprogteam, we do not use your picture for anything other than giving you the opportunity to present yourself visually on your profile.

We only use your personal information for what is absolutely necessary, such as creating a profile on Sprogteam.

The information is intended to make interaction between customers and employees easier. However, we are still obligated under Danish law and must act if we find it necessary.

Any necessary exchange of personal information required to continue a service must be exchanged on the app.

Users of the platform and/or app must not submit proposals or request parties to enter into contracts or make payments outside of the Sprogteam system. You must not publish or post others' private and confidential information.

There are instances where we need to share your personal information with the suppliers and partners who help us execute your order or task, or who assist us with our IT operations.

This can include our service providers, technical support, and our bank. Additionally, we share your information to the extent we are obligated to, such as due to reporting requirements to public authorities like SKAT.

In short, here is what we use your personal information for:

  1. To promote your skills as a service provider to potential customers using the content on your profile.
  2. To facilitate the sending of invoices and processing of salaries.
  3. To assist you with customer service and fulfill your requests to us.
  4. To make it easy to use our platform.

GDPR, Data Protection, and Cookies

At Sprogteam, we ensure that received data is used with care. This means protecting data from tracking by external hackers and others interested in sensitive personal data. There is only one exchange of data, which is between citizens, private customers, and Sprogteam employees.

This is because the interpreter must not take on a task if the citizen is known to the interpreter. The interpreter must therefore have the opportunity to assess in advance whether the citizen is a friend, family member, acquaintance, or similar, which is why the citizen's name is disclosed to the interpreter.

Information such as the interpreter's phone number, email, etc., is also necessary to disclose to the citizen and the requester for the following communication and interpretation task. Data is only used for these purposes, and we ensure that we only ask for the data that is necessary.

If we process personal information, it is in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Additionally, we follow the Danish personal data rules that apply from May 25, 2018.

However, we cannot guarantee 100 percent security for data transfers on Sprogteam via the internet, as it is a variable and large entity over which we do not have full control. This means that there may be a slight risk that others gain access to information when data is sent and stored electronically. You therefore provide your personal information at your own risk.
